askppl in your area if they have the same issue for others then it wont be ch9 at fault.. itll most likely be a case of marginal signalthe other channels probably arent so good either but are just good enuf to keep a constant signal without breakup. check antenna allignment and all cables and all connections.

The TV will have a built in tuner so all you need to do is supply it with a signal from the roof aerial ( not a dish ) I would guess you have simply not re connected the aerial input when you had a sort out . Re run the "auto setup" tuning and then have at look at the signal condition and strenghe in the tuning menu .
